\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Whether or not you were arrested<\/a> at,\u00a0<\/em>wrongfully evicted from<\/a>, or<\/em><\/span> had a\u00a0slanderous<\/a> article written about you which defamed<\/a> the purpose in which you came to\u00a0Sacred Stone Camp<\/a>, Oceti Sakowin Camp<\/a>, Seventh Generation Camp, Sicangu\/Rosebud, etc., you may\u00a0<\/em>have claim<\/a> against the State of North Dakota, Energy Transfer Partners, a federal agency &\/or other agencies<\/a> or entities<\/a>. \u00a0Since September 2016 our organization, Wild Willpower<\/a>, has been compiling the framework<\/em> with which to help enforce treaty rights for the 1851 treaty<\/a>, the water rights of tribes & downstream users<\/a>, & the\u00a0civil rights\u00a0<\/em>of Water Protectors through the federal courts (<\/em><\/b><\/span>US Court of Federal Claims<\/a>\u00a0&\u00a0<\/strong>North Dakota Federal District Courthouse<\/a>\u00a0primarily). \u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span>Due to the fact that we are going to be seeking restitution\u00a0as well as\u00a0<\/em>other forms of relief amongst this somewhat complex case, we’ve prepared a section of this website to help us all get our\u00a0brains moving in the same direction<\/em>\u00a0concerning\u00a0“what do we\u00a0want<\/em><\/span>“. \u00a0This is known as a “list of reasonable demands”, or,\u00a0<\/span>as its essentially referred to within the First Amendment<\/a>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

About Me<\/em> & About This Case:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 First off, my name (the person writing this)<\/em> is Distance<\/a>. \u00a0 I think its important for you to know who you’re engaging with. \u00a0Me & my dear friend Kevin arrived to stand with Water Protectors September 20, 2016 following the release of attack dogs\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0the destruction of the Lakota\/Dakota\/Nakota ancestral burial sites on September 3rd<\/a>, 2016. \u00a0You can read more about my case HERE<\/a>. \u00a0In summary, I was arrested on two charges, but thanks to having studied pro se litigation<\/a> (representing yourself in court) for years, along with some procedural consultation from one of the members of Water Protector Legal Collective<\/a>, I was able to get the case \u00a0dismissed following my “motion to dismiss.” \u00a0The case is not over<\/em>\u00a0however. \u00a0<\/em>The criminal case was “going on the defense”- but my\u00a0rights were violated,<\/em>\u00a0so now it is time to “go on the offense”, but many<\/em><\/span> Water Protectors do not know how to do this, so that why this<\/em> webpage exists- to help everyone<\/em><\/span>\u00a0follow through with what we started<\/em>. \u00a0We’re not finished yet<\/span>. \u00a0What happened to\u00a0me<\/span> <\/em>is a similar experience to what happened to other Water Protectors and\u00a0<\/em>to people\u00a0everyday. \u00a0I was a victim of something\u00a0everyone<\/em><\/span> should take a moment to read about:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I’m currently<\/em><\/span> in the process of finishing\u00a0<\/em>compiling the archive on this website<\/a>,\u00a0history section<\/em><\/a>, and<\/em>\u00a0a simplified<\/span> version<\/span>\u00a0<\/a><\/em>of the\u00a0Federal Rules of Civil Procedure<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0so that<\/em> when we’re ready to file, everything can be made public including<\/span><\/em>\u00a0filming & broadcasting the court proceedings<\/a>. \u00a0In addition,\u00a0www.ReUniteTheStates.org<\/a>\u00a0 is being assembled so when we do\u00a0<\/em>file, instead of having to read through a bunch of confusing legalspeak<\/a>\u00a0only lawyers<\/em> can read,\u00a0everyone<\/em><\/span> will know exactly what is going on. \u00a0I’ve \u00a0compiled extensive data on every so-called “Indian” & treaty-related case law, executive order, Act of Congress, & treaty violation relative to this case, which will be online in a navigable format, in context with certain federal protections, soon<\/em>. \u00a0T<\/strong>he Redress of Grievances<\/a> section is up publicly\u00a0now<\/em><\/span> so that you<\/em><\/span> have time to comment, add your ideas, and\u00a0<\/em>so we can have plenty of time to “think together” instead of me moving forward on this without interaction with the people involved. \u00a0My request is that if you comment on this site to please do so in a way that helps lift each other & our shared future\u00a0up\u00a0<\/em>rather than tearing anyone down. \u00a0I may not carry the same views as you\u00a0at this time,\u00a0<\/em>so please don’t feel slighted if I compiled anything that isn’t to your taste or perspective. \u00a0<\/strong><\/span>That said,\u00a0<\/em>at this time,\u00a0the most important thing I can suggest that you do for your case and the case at large,\u00a0<\/em>is to\u00a0Send Us a Copy of Your State’s Discovery<\/a>\u00a0and<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
