{"id":466,"date":"2016-10-30T02:45:05","date_gmt":"2016-10-30T02:45:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/standingrockclassaction.org\/?page_id=466"},"modified":"2021-03-05T19:36:49","modified_gmt":"2021-03-05T19:36:49","slug":"redress-of-greivances","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/standingrockclassaction.org\/?page_id=466","title":{"rendered":"Redress of Grievances"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 As result of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.standingrock.org\/content\/victory-standing-rock-sioux-tribe-court-finds-approval-dakota-access-pipeline-violated-law\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the illegal approval of the Dakota Access Pipeline Project<\/a>, <\/strong>[1]\u00a0[2] <strong>the following <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=8954\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">parties<\/a> suffered various types of <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=5497\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">injuries<\/a> to their <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=11412\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">legal rights<\/a>, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=11400\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">direct injuries<\/a> resulting thereof:<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>1. <a href=\"https:\/\/standingrockclassaction.org\/\/?page_id=6613\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Standing Rock Sioux Tribe<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 injury to their legally-protected downstream water rights,<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>2. <a href=\"https:\/\/standingrockclassaction.org\/\/?page_id=6616\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 injury to their legally-protected downstream water rights,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>3. <a href=\"https:\/\/standingrockclassaction.org\/\/?page_id=6605\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">State of North Dakota Taxpayers<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 $38 million spent to suppress legal protest of an illegally-approved project which violated the <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=7450\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fiduciary duty<\/a> of the U.S. federal government,<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>4. <a href=\"https:\/\/standingrockclassaction.org\/\/?page_id=6570\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Water Protectors<\/a> \u2013 various physical and nonphysical <a href=\"https:\/\/reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=7164\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">personal injuries<\/a> caused subsequent to legally protesting the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.standingrock.org\/content\/victory-standing-rock-sioux-tribe-court-finds-approval-dakota-access-pipeline-violated-law\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">illegally-approved pipeline<\/a> which put both officers <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>and<\/em><\/span> civilians in harm&#8217;s way,<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>5. <a href=\"https:\/\/standingrockclassaction.org\/\/?page_id=6628\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.S. Taxpayers<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 paid <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kfyrtv.com\/content\/news\/Department-of-Justice-awards-10-million-to-ND-to-reimburse-DAPL-costs-440570613.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$10 million, without consent, to State of North Dakota<\/a> for the purpose of unlawfully suppressing First Amendment related activity. <\/strong>[3]<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong> WHEREAS thousands of U.S. Citizens\u00a0legally protested the illegal construction of DAPL in accordance with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=2038\">First Amendment<\/a>, The Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.duhaime.org\/LegalDictionary\/C\/CasusFoederis.aspx\">Casus foederis<\/a>\u00a0with regard to\u00a0our nation&#8217;s moral obligation to tribes and tribal nations:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>THEREFORE we, the undersigned, have assembled the following\u00a0&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.reunitethestates.org\/?page_id=4430\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">List of Reasonable Demands<\/a>&#8221; to provide redress for <a href=\"https:\/\/standingrockclassaction.org\/\/?page_id=6584\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">our various grievances<\/a>, as follows:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; color: #993300;\"><strong>Of Pipelines:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Remove\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/daplpipelinefacts.com\/\">Dakota Access Pipeline<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0there is <a href=\"http:\/\/yeswenative.com\/2017\/08\/31\/judge-orders-removal-gas-pipeline-native-american-property\/\">more than one precedent<\/a> and the necessary statutes\u00a0to be able to enforce this demand, so we&#8217;ve compiled the case to take before the court.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; color: #993300;\"><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Public <\/b><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"><b>Apologies<\/b><\/span><b style=\"font-size: 24px;\">, Exonerations, and Restitution<\/b><\/span><strong style=\"color: #993300;
