  <\/span>   Jordan from<\/span> TYT Politics<\/a> <\/span>interviews <\/span><\/span>LaDonna Brave Bull<\/a><\/span> regarding (at least one) tribal council member <\/span><\/span>and<\/em> federal agents <\/span><\/span>entering onto her property without a warrant on 2-2-2017<\/a>.  LaDonna claims she went to BIA<\/a> office with her land title (3 acres), additional acreage that is held “<\/span><\/span><\/span>in common<\/a><\/span>” with her 5 brothers & sisters, & also a “10 acre <\/span><\/span>deed<\/a><\/span>” <\/span><\/span>and <\/em>a deed to the family <\/span>cemetery<\/span>.  She explains her brothers & sisters from <\/span>Sisseton<\/a> & other places <\/span>did <\/em>sell their acreage <\/span>& <\/span>did <\/em>have acreage on “tribal trust land” here.  She explains that those who <\/span>didn’t<\/span>‘ sell <\/span><\/em>they still own approximately 120 acres of 317 acres of the land they hold in common, & that the BIA<\/a> did not<\/em><\/span> have two<\/em><\/span> of the deeds on file & that they’re adding them on file.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    Jordan explains that the spokesperson of the tribe told him<\/em> that they gave permission to the federal agents to go in and <\/em>that “LaDonna<\/a> doesn’t ‘own’ the land – she has ‘trust’ in the land just as many others do including <\/em>the Archambault family.<\/span>”  LaDonna explains that the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe<\/em><\/a> owns tribal trust on the land but “that does not<\/em><\/span> mean the Chairman owns land.<\/span>”   She goes on to explain that the tribe didn’t have any <\/em>standing to go onto the property & that they “Need a warrant<\/span>” that has her <\/em>name on it.  She explains that where the camp is located <\/em>is not<\/em><\/span> part of the floodplain and<\/em><\/span> that it is not<\/em><\/span> going<\/em><\/span> to<\/em><\/span> flood<\/em><\/span> because everything<\/span> is<\/span> frozen<\/span>.  <\/em>LaDonna, longtime tribal historian, then compares the scenario to a time in 1890 when fur traders were demanding that the tribe must be “on the reservation” in the middle of winter.  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

     She explains Sacred Stone is complying <\/em>with Colonel Henderson’s demand letter to <\/a>move Yurt Village<\/a>.  <\/em>She explains that the order by the Tribal Council that “only enrolled members can drive on the roads” is illegal.  She also explains “Donald Trump still doesn’t understand his position.<\/span>”  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

     She explains that the Tribe should not be fighting against the people who are standing up for them.  She explains that “We should be standing together to stop the construction of Dakota Access Pipeline<\/a> on a unified front.”  <\/span><\/em>She again explains it is “<\/span>like when the fur traders were here” and “<\/span>started gossip & rumor to divide the people.”  She encourages people to stand up for the water <\/em>& also to “stand up for the tribe hoping <\/em>they make better decisions & stand <\/em>in a unified fashion with The People.“<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

     Jordan asks if she suspects any of the rumors are true.  She explains people should not engage in rumors <\/em>because in 1890 when they went into the Black Hills, in the time of Sitting Bull, there were rumors spread throughout the tribes in order to break up the unity, & that that is what she <\/em>is witnessing happening here<\/em>.  She explains that the “growing doubt” is what they want – that when you “stand up against a billion dollar industry, this is how they work.  They go into the communities & spread gossip & rumor.<\/span>“<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      She explains that she <\/em>will stand with “anyone who stands for the water”, & that Sacred Stone Camp will be a summer camp <\/em>to teach people how to live sustainably with the Earth.  She explains that “Now is the time” where we can change <\/em>and heal.  <\/em>She explains “There are not leaders in this movement.  There are only <\/span>people<\/em><\/span>.<\/span>“<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
